About This Pattern

Taegeuk 5 represents the trigram "Son" (巽), symbolising Wind. Wind can be both gentle and destructive, calm and powerful. This pattern teaches the duality of gentle persistence and mighty force, combining flowing movements with powerful strikes.

New techniques introduced: Hammer fist downward strike (Me jumeok naeryo chigi), Elbow strike (Palkup dollyo chigi), Single knife-hand middle block (Hansonnal momtong makgi), Closed stance (Moa seogi)
