About This Pattern

Taegeuk 6 represents the trigram "Gam" (坎), symbolising Water. Water flows continuously, overcoming obstacles through persistence rather than force. This pattern teaches the student to move with fluidity and overcome challenges through continuous effort.

New techniques introduced: Roundhouse kick (Dollyo chagi), Palm block (Batangson makgi), Knife-hand high block (Sonnal olgul makgi)

Left walking stance (Ap kubi) + Low block (Arae makgi)
